Happy Friday. If you have the day off, like me, I hope you enjoy it! If you don’t, I hope the day passes quickly.
Next, I apologize for the dearth of posts this week. As a marketing director I have quarterly goals that tie to our sales efforts, and this week has been full of finishing up projects and running SO MANY reports. Especially since the week is a day short. I’ve got lots of listening and post planning fun planned for this weekend, so you’ll see a return to my usual schedule next week and through the month!
But you’re not here for that. Why are you here again? LOL. Let’s get to this week’s fifteen additions to my Spotify Liked Songs list.
Friday Fifteen
For any newer subscribers and/or followers, each Friday I share the fifteen songs I like most after a week of music seeking and recommendations from Threads. Some weeks I add several hundred songs, and some weeks, it’s less than one hundred. This was a smaller add week, but there are still some absolute gems.
This week‘s fifteen is a mix of new, new to me, and old favorites I hadn’t yet added to my list (I set up a new Spotify account for my music sharing endeavors in mid-2023).
The Standouts
While each week’s playlist includes fifteen songs, I also list my standouts before sharing the playlists!
This week the standouts are:
“Peacekeeper” by Bear Hands
“Never Get It Right” by Connie Campsie
“Burdens” by HAFFWAY
“Oregon” by Briston Maroney
“The Game” by Sports Team
“Friday On My Mind” by The Easybeats

And there you have it. This week’s fifteen. Did anything stand out? Did you add a song or three to your own evolving liked list(s)? I’d love to know. Look for a deeper cuts list tomorrow and a starter list on Sunday. Remember, it’s all about the music this long weekend!
All I had to do was see The Easybeats and I notched my "like".
Some weeks you add several hundred?! Haha great effort. My fav new discoveries out of this lot are Bear Hands and Loma. Loma includes Shearwater's lead singer Jonathan Meiburg, which I somehow misssed?! Loving some of the older sounds in here too: 54-40 sounds like REM and Postal Blue a bit like a mix between Pet Shop Boys and Morrisey! Oh, and Friday On My Mind obviously a banger! Thanks for sharing :)
