I like a good theme. Something I can sink my teeth into each week. Something readers know to look for and anticipate.
But I also like to muse and see where my mind takes me. Rigidly sticking to a themed schedule can lead to formulaic and dull publishes.
I’ve settled on two themes for Mondays. A more random selection of musings and Makeover Mondays where I’ll share some of my favorite and new to me covers.
It was a REALLY long weekend. Travel, a company Christmas party, dealing with pets post-travel, etc. I didn’t get to listen to nearly as much music as I generally enjoy over a weekend, and I feel the lack.Sadly, I have my regular slew of Monday meetings, so my necessary heads down, headphones on, binge can’t start until after 11 AM. I think I can hold out. Maybe.
Have I mentioned I love a good cover? I have an ever growing Killer Covers playlist. I add to it every time I come across a great addition. Technically, Christmas songs are covers. I’m thinking of compiling my favorite Christmas covers and sharing next week. Feel free to chime in with a few of your favorites for consideration.
That’s enough musing, I’d guess. You’re probably ready for the playlist portion of this publish. Here you go, the first Makeover Monday playlist.

Thanks for reading and listening!
It's a fantastic cover, so glad you like it.
And the trip was such a whirlwind. To PA and back to GA within 24 hours. I'm still tired.
And I have a REAL fan girl thing going on for Henning May and AnnenMayKantereit. Sorry, NOT sorry!
I love a day trip/overnight as much as anyone, but can't say I blame you for feeling wiped out afterward.
As for the playlist, the Lucy Daucus cover is new to me, and I wasn't expecting to like it nearly as much as I do!
