New Music On A Friday

New additions to my Liked Songs list

It’s Friday. The end of a week. But more than that on this, specific, Friday. It’s my last day at work until Tuesday, January 2. HOORAY.

I plan to spend a good bit of that week+ off working on goals for this publication, finishing my playlist website, and listening to a LOT of music while I relax.

On Fridays I often share a playlist stacked with the new music I’ve been provided and/or sought out during the week preceding.

This week we launch with a lucky find from my Threads “For You” list. I am thrilled to lead off the playlist with this bit of instrumental goodness from Slow Command. Let’s get this talented artist above FIVE monthly listens, please!

The list continues with a variety of pop, power pop, folk, and indie rock fun. Some real standouts for me include Sean Jane’s “Rock In This Raging River,” Julia Cunningham’s “She & I,” Matteson Gregory’s “I Wanna Get Hurt,” and “World Keeps Spinning” by Tall Poppies.
