New To My Liked List: February 9, 2024

Fifteen of my favorite tracks added to my liked list this week...

Happy Friday. Good morning. Here’s to a weekend full of avid and anticipatory listening. Music makes the weekend, after all. Well, I mean, it does for me! I’ll let you determine that for yourselves.

It’s day two of my much needed four-day weekend, and my intent is to get caught up on listening, mix tape and mix CD making, and some more vinyl searching. But first, a look at the best of what made its way onto my Spotify Liked Songs playlist this week.

The Latest Additions

It’s been another eclectic and decade hopping week of building my eclectic playlist. I went back to the 1960s and there are several 2024 new releases among today’s fifteen favorites.

I was shocked to find, as a die-hard Frightened Rabbit and Scott Hutchison fan, some songs missing from my discography and liked list. But miss an album, I had, a various artists collection titled First Edition.

The list runs from folk ballads to electronic and rap. It was truly an eclectic week. My favorite kind.

While I love all fifteen tracks that made today’s NTMLL compilation, there are standouts:
