It’s been a whirlwind weekend, full of travel. The two companies I work for are headquarters in Pennsylvania and my presence was required at a holiday party. The husband and I flew out yesterday, attended the party, and then had to get up at 3:50 AM this morning to fly home.
To say I’m tired would be an understatement. But I’m home, with access to my music, and that makes up for too much travel and too little sleep.

I promised one of my threeps a Dean Lewis Starter playlist before end of day, and I’m delivering.
What to say about Dean Lewis? His success probably speaks for itself, but what is it that interest me? The emotion. “How Do I Say Goodbye,” written for his father suffering with cancer (don’t worry, the story has a happy ending), is an emotional powerhouse of a song. I dare you not to feel something after listening.
His songs are often tied to the heartbreak of a breakup, and you feel each of those breakups in your gut, deep, when you listen. I like emotional and emotive vocals. I like angst. This guy delivers in spades.
Haven’t heard much? Here’s your chance. Ten songs to get you started. If they work for you, let me know!
