Good morning, or good “whatever time of day it is where you are currently.”

It’s been an intense week at work, so this weekly share may be a bit shorter, but hopefully just as sweet.

The Artists

We start off slow with dreamy soundscapes and unhurried vocals from Charlie Bennett. He’s got a dedicated following on TikTok and Instagram, but he’s a new find for me.

The pace picks up with Footballheads. I hear a mix of Weezer, The Replacements, and Jimmy Eats World. What do you hear when you listen to these fellas out of Chicago? They rank as my favorite of the three artists featured today.

We slow down again as we round out the list with Steve Marino. Steve’s a singer songwriter who is anything but new to the music scene. It reminds me, a bit, of Evan Dando’s solo work. It’s melodic and appealing.
