Good morning. Happy Thursday. It’s been another long week, but we’re nearing the end. as we always do, with the weekend in our sights.
Music, as it always does, fueled many hours to tasks and to-do items. While I’m still looking forward to find new music, I find myself looking back more often, of late, to find forgotten treasures or new-to-me, missed them at the time, gems.
This week’s Threepeat Thursday compilation has both past favorites and new-to-me finds, but they’re songs from years back. Songs I either missed while listening to something else, or songs I’ve long loved but haven’t heard in a while.
People, Places, Maps
You’d think this band would have spent significant time on my liked list, as they’re Scottish indie similar to many of my favorite listens. But I’m late to the party and they’re no longer making music. That doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate and share their gorgeous songs with you!
Guided By Voices
I’ve long been a fan. Robert Pollard’s voice is magical. And his songwriting skills are ella by many. But I hadn’t listened in far too long. Shoutout to the incredible ear of my Threads friend, John Kelly, for reminding me, on numerous occasions, to get back to Guided By Voices. I added many old favorites that hadn't found their way to my liked list.
Wussy
This is another late find. Another new-to-me entry. I’m not sure how I stumbled across their stellar “Maglite,” but I know the dual male/female vocals immediately grabbed me and dig in deep. So I dig deeper into their discography to gather the three songs necessary to add them to this playlist.

There it is. This week’s Threepeat Thursday share. Did I remind you of an old favorite? Share a potential new favorite? I love when you share your thoughts! Thanks for listening and for looking backward and forward with me!
I'm really happy you found Wussy! They are incredible. 'Airborne' might be the best break up song ever. Most talk about the fireworks and shouting; this one covers the relationship's denouement.
I'll stop here, but really, I could prattle on and on about this band all day long. lol.
Three bands I’d heard of but not listened to here. I like the first two Wussy tracks very much.
