Good morning. It’s Tuesday. Hooray! Two more days before a much deserved four-day weekend for this gal. Before then, though, way too much WordPress and social media sheduling for this gal.
Let’s dive right into the two-fors, shall we?
Two Songs Say So Much …
Today’s list launches with Johmen, self-described as eclectic and eccentric. I’ll stand behind the eclectic, but a deeper dive is necesarry before I’m willing to give him eccentric! It’s jangly guitars mixed with electronic fuzz, danceable beats, and low key vocals. Check it out for yourself!
Next up, we’ve got Curling. Their Spotify descriptions says it all. They like “tape hiss, sixty-cycle hum, and weird tunings. I like the melancholy delivery and the altenating ringing and fuzzy guitar sound.
More fuzz, a bit of distortion, and more melancholy comes with Hello London. It’s a bit of an unintended, but not disappointing, vibe for the week. Which is all I really want for any week!
EDIE brings the first, and only, female voice to this week’s playlist. She’s a rising pop/indie artist out of Perth/Boorloo. Her influences are listed as Fleetwood Mac, ABBA, and The Rolling Stones, but her sound ties in a bit more with the style of Lucy Dacus or Blondshell.
Closing out this week’s list, we’ve got Sasser out of Houston, TX. Dreamy, jangly, pop/rock is the sound. They take their inspiration from The 1975, Inhaler, and The Killers, and you can hear it. “I Found You” is a gorgeous soundscape to close out this week’s compilation.

There you have it. Another series of couplets to give you a taste of some new additions to my Liked List. What did you think? Did anything make the jump to your own liked lists? Let me know!
I thought from the description that I would hate Curling but they turned out to be my favourite of the bunch. “Patience” sort of reminds me of Monster era REM, I think.
I couldn’t see a Spotify playlist. Is that intentional or a me problem?
