On Tuesdays we offer up two songs per artist, no more than five artists at a time.
To launch the first Two For publish of the new year, we’ve got five musical acts, which means you’ve got ten listens ahead of you. I hope you enjoy!
Seamus O.
We launch the list with a favorite new find, Seamus O. It’s a travesty and injustice that this talented artist has only 65 monthly listeners. Let’s change that up for him, pretty puhleeze. I admit I have a soft spot for the name Seamus (we had a Bassett hound with the same name who died far too young with a heart defect). But I also have a soft spot for lo-fi rock goodness, and that’s the reason he’s leading off the list!
LACHYO
“The Best” is just too much fun. It made me dance in my chair, and that’s not an easy feat. There’s something sweet and simple to it, and there’s just something special about this song. Let me know what you think!
Adam’s Sister
We pick up speed here, with some peppy pop punk goodness. Who hasn’t wanted to say “my life might suck, but so do you,” at some point over the last year? Sentiment points scored. Need something energetic and angsty for your list? You won’t steer wrong with Adam’s Sister.
Ribs
The tempo slows a bit with “dumb love song.” But the slower tempo comes with grit and emotion, and a hint of darkness. It continues with “claws.” It’s got a punch even with the slower cadence. The chorus is raw, yet there’s a dark joy in the proclamation.
Tristan Dolce
We continue the gentler vibe as we close out the playlist. Stumbling upon Tristan Dolce was a happy accident that I’m absolutely thrilled with. Better known as a producer and sound engineer, Dolce’s own songs are a very welcome addition to my liked list. I love the boyish charm of “Willow Springs.”

I hope you’ll let me know what you think? Did any of these artists earn a spot on your own liked lists?
This is a great selection! 5 new artists to me and, although I’m not sold on Seamus O, I really like the other four. Tristan Dolce’s vocals really remind me of someone else but I can’t place them. Thanks so much!
