I've got an extended playlist today: Ten artists instead of five. Enjoy!

Good morning. Happy Tuesday! I hope you enjoyed your weekend, whether or not you reside someplace that recognizes Labor Day!

On Tuesdays I share two songs each from artists I’ve either found or who have been repeat plays. This week I’ve got a slew of ten new to me artists, all rocking, all female fronted, and all awesome (in my opinion, at least).

I tend to gravitate to male voices, especially those with Scottish accents (not a surprise to anyone who’s been reading for a while). But I’m trying to even out my new music listening to include more female-fronted acts. And this week’s playlist is dedicated to that pursuit.

These listens were launched by a deeper dive into a Spotify radio station. I honestly can’t remember which artist station got the ball rolling. But it was filled with female-fronted bangers that made me take notice and helped me decide that direction of this week’s Two For Tuesday playlist.

As is my usual way, I’m not going to spend a ton of time waxing rhapsodic about each of the artists or any of the songs I’m sharing today. I prefer to let the music speak for itself, and let you form your own opinions. But amongst the ten artists shared, there ARE two real standouts.
