It’s my first Monday back on Substack in a while. I haven’t stopped thinking about multiple versions to share, so I’ve got quite a few ready to go. It wasn’t easy to decide which one to go with today.
But Bjork is always a good choice, am I right?
Multiple Versions: All Is Full Of Love
Bjork has been top of mind for me since I started my Favorite Voices challenge on Threads last month. I knew she would be one of the voices I shared as a favorite.
Choosing the voices is rarely hard for me. In fact, I regularly extend the challenges as I have so many options I want to share. But choosing the song to showcase that voice? That’s the hard part.
I actually chose “Human Behaviour” for the Threads challenge, but I spent a good hour deciding on the single song I’d use to showcase Bjork’s unique delivery. “All Is Full Of Love” was one of the songs I delibarated during the selection process.
The Playlists
Here are five versions of “All Is Full Of Love.” Most stay pretty true to the style of the original, as I just don’t know how far afield you’d be able to go and do the song justice.

Which version did you enjoy most? The original? One of the covers? I know some of you like to rank them in order. I’d love to know what you think of this selection. Chime in with a comment, please!
I'm not really familiar with this song but I like what Rosie Thomas does with it. Sweet vocal.
Welcome back! It's great to see this series return.
Hard to top the original, but the Rockabye Baby! cover was probably my next favorite of the lot. I expected DCFC's version to take second, but Ben Gibbard's voice is not built for a Bjork cover.
