Facing The Mondays ...
We do it week after week and it's time for a booster shot of tunes
Good morning. I woke up with serious allergy sniffles, which means I’ll have a raw, red nose by end of day. Seems fitting, it is a Monday, after all.
Most of us face the Mondays. Some of us face them on a different day of the week, depending on work schedules. But there’s no denying, there’s that first day of the work week many of us face with at least a bit of trepidation.
It’s Monday … MEH!
Even if you generally enjoy your job, there’s something about Monday. For me it’s about the weekend speeding by while the work week slogs on and on and on. While I love what I do, I don’t currently love the company for whom I do what I do. So Monday mornings are a reminder that I have to do what I do while disliking the who for whom I do it.
It’s no surprise that quite a few artists have recorded songs about this less than loved first day of the week. And if Monday is the day we dread, I say we face our fears and fight back the Monday feels with a slew of songs dedicated to that least favorite day of the week!

Oh my GOD I randomly clicked the last one and it's unlocked a childhood memory SO HARD. But I don't know why? I only now can really appreciate the lyrics because back then I was too young to understand English well enough. Why do I know this?? Epic song regardless haha
