It’s my last Monday at work for a couple weeks. I work this week, then get the week including Christmas off, all the way through the 2nd of January. And I’m REALLY looking forward to that time off. I’ll get my Rs in, reading and relaxing, for sure.
But also plan to put some serious time into planning what this publication will be in 2024. And I’m going to figure out what to do with the domain, myeclecticplaylist.com.
But that’s a week away. Today is about sharing music.
We’ll get the ball rolling with a selection of Christmas music from artists and bands who connected with me on Threads. I’ve got fifteen holiday infused listens for you to check out.

Now that I’ve infused your Monday with some holiday cheer, and a few holiday laments, it’s time to dive into one of my regular monthly themes.
Makeover Monday!
I’ve said it before, and I’m sure to say it a few million time more, I LOVE a good cover.
I keep a lengthy playlist of my favorite covers for my own listening pleasure. But for our purposes here, I think short and sweet is the way to go.
So, here are five of my current favorite covers for you to check out. I’d love to know what you think!

What Would You Like To See More Of In The New Year?
I’ve been publishing pretty steadily for a couple of weeks. I’ve shared a few themes and several different playlist collections. Which would you like to see more of? Which would you like me to switch up a bit?
You, the readers and listeners, are the reason I’m here, so it only makes sense to ask what you’d like to read and hear in as this publication continues into the new year.
Please chime in with a comment. I’m ready to dive into planning my publishing schedule the day after Christmas, and your feedback is invaluable.
Great to see Hazel English getting some love here! I had a chance to speak to her earlier this and she was incredibly down to Earth/kind.
Also, that cover of "Laid" is (chef's kiss).
I, too, am a big fan of covers, and Crooked Fingers' cover of "When U Were Mine" really landed. But I think I like their cover of "Under Pressure", from the same EP, even better. I mean, come on, turning the iconic Freddie and David smash into a bluegrass ballad, mostly, is quite amazing.
