I have a real soft spot for Hazel English. There's just something about her voice that is so soothing. And I'm so glad you enjoyed the cover. While I think I'm sharing gems, I do sometimes wonder if others will find them flops!
I, too, am a big fan of covers, and Crooked Fingers' cover of "When U Were Mine" really landed. But I think I like their cover of "Under Pressure", from the same EP, even better. I mean, come on, turning the iconic Freddie and David smash into a bluegrass ballad, mostly, is quite amazing.
Great to see Hazel English getting some love here! I had a chance to speak to her earlier this and she was incredibly down to Earth/kind.
