I didn’t know this song but it’s lovely. I like them all and am inclined to agree that the covers surpass the original. I really enjoyed the Nellie McKay cover. She’s not an artist I’ve come across but something in her vocals reminds me of Kirsty MacColl.

She’s got a lovely vibe, doesn’t she? I’ve listened to several covers she’s done, but I’m going to dig a bit deeper into her discography.
I’m not ashamed to admit I’m a big fan of Neil, so I’m almost guaranteed to love anything he does.
This is definitely not something to be ashamed of!
