This is an awesome reclamation of a great group! My fave girl group is the Ronettes. I can’t get enough of Ronnie Spector’s voice.

Thanks for chiming in. I love the Ronettes, too. I'd be hard pressed to choose a favorite right now, but it's because I've inundated myself in the genre.

If you’re gonna be inundated, you definitely picked the right genre. Those songs are all timeless and beautiful (with the exception of maybe “He Hit Me and It Felt Like a Kiss” by the Crystals. We could’ve lived without that one.)

Yeah, there are a few misfires. YIKES. But, overall? Such a great, and wholesome, genre!

I learned about The Flirtations via my aunt, whose collection of 45s included “Nothing But a Heartache”. It’s still one of my all-time favorite 60s soul/girl group jams.

That's an awesome story. I love the way music is shared by family members.

"Nothing But A Heartache" is a stone cold classic.

It is. No argument here!

The Flirtations are new to me, but On Repeat is a Martha & The Vandellas stan account.
