Good morning. I hope many of you enjoyed a lovely long weekend. I enjoyed mine. And I’m continuing to enjoy some me time as today starts my staycation. I have so needed this. And it’s HERE! Hooray!
While there will be some deep house cleaning and organizing, and a “keep it quiet for now” project, I also plan to listen to a LOT of music and RELAX. I’ve been wound incredibly tight for months now. And there will be a lot of art time, in my art journals, and on canvas.
But you’re here for the music, so let’s get back on track!
Two Tunes On Tuesdays!
On Tuesdays it’s all about the twos. Two songs from terrific artists that I want to share with you.
This week we’ve got an eclectic mix of new, new-to-me, and old favorites resurrected by chance! Because I’m taking it easy, and I don’t want to regurgitate random ramblings from artist bios, I’m going to let the tunes talk themselves up.

There you go. Another Tuesday, another Ten tunes, in couplets. What tickled your ears? Did anything stand out this week? Were you reminded of a favorite listen? Drop me a comment to let me know. I so enjoy interacting with you!
Unwed Sailor won the day for me. It's like if The Smiths got tired of Morrissey's bullshit and reformed as an instrumentals band. I ended up spinning through the whole album and ordered the vinyl because of course I would.
Really enjoyed the Brownbear tracks. I’ve added them to my list. Thank you.
Very happy to see you feature The Howlers. Cowboys Don’t Cry is one of the standout tracks of the year so far for me. It’s such a great album overall and they are absolutely lovely people. It’s great to see them have a bit of success. The record was also produced by Chris and Tommy from Black Honey, one of my all time favourite bands, so it’s dear to me in a lot of ways.
